About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key strategic partner, leading the financial strategy, and will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and ensuring the organization's long-term growth and sustainability. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and managing both government and private funding requirements. The successful candidate will also be tasked with strengthening internal controls, leading financial systems and process improvement initiatives, and developing and mentoring finance and administrative staff. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a BS in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for those holding an MBA and/or CPA. The ideal candidate will have a background as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in senior nonprofit finance leadership, with significant experience in managing government and grant-funded revenue streams. Strong expertise in nonprofit accounting, compliance, and audit, as well as experience in presenting financial information to Boards and executive leadership, is essential. The role requires a proven ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, strong leadership, communication, and team development skills, and a track record of driving financial strategy and long-range planning.
