About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Assessment and MTSS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and administrative oversight of the district's comprehensive assessment and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) intervention frameworks. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the assessment and MTSS systems are valid, reliable, accessible, and instructionally meaningful, and are used to inform decisions about student learning, instructional improvement, and equitable access to supports. The Executive Director will lead a high-performing department, supervise a team, and guide long-term strategic plans with a focus on equity, access, and inclusion. They will also be accountable for district-wide policy development, critical partnerships, and the procurement and management of third-party testing and MTSS platform partners. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a Professional Educator License with an administrative endorsement. A minimum of 8 years' experience in assessment, MTSS, or related educational leadership functions, and at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within an educational environment, are required. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of balanced assessment systems, educational measurement principles, and multi-tiered intervention strategies, as well as a deep understanding of relevant regulations and policies. Strong project management, strategic planning, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with a commitment to educational access, equity, and continuous learning.
