About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology Innovation to serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Information Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in IT strategy, with a focus on balancing the adoption of new ideas with business needs and the capabilities of IT teams. This role involves leading a team of innovation-focused technologists in driving transformational changes and defining the technology roadmap. The VP of Technology Innovation will also be tasked with overseeing the evaluation, selection, and piloting of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and user-centeredness. Applicants must have a solid foundation in IT operations, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in information technology, digital transformation, or technology innovation, and at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience within a regulated environment, particularly in a New York State OPWDD provider, CCO, Health Home, or Medicaid-funded setting, is strongly preferred. The role requires the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, drive organizational change, and ensure that all technology initiatives comply with OPWDD and DOH regulations, Medicaid requirements, and other relevant standards. Strong communication skills, the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and a background in information security, HIPAA compliance, and data governance best practices are essential.
