About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer for Acute Care. The CMO will be a key physician executive responsible for advancing safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care. This role involves close collaboration with medical staff, administration, and governing bodies to oversee medical affairs functions, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and support hospital operations. The successful candidate will also lead medical staff departments, oversee education, and serve as a trusted liaison to promote engagement, alignment, and shared accountability. Candidates for the CMO position must be clinically credible physician leaders with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and a proven ability to improve systems, quality, and outcomes. The role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust and alignment among diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a track record of driving organizational change, advancing quality, and fostering a culture of high reliability within a complex healthcare environment. A deep alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values is essential. Applicants must hold an M.D. or D.O., have completed an ACGME-accredited residency, and maintain active board certification in their specialty. An advanced degree in healthcare administration or business is strongly preferred.
