About the Role

The successful candidate will also be tasked with leading efforts to modernize financial systems and technology, ensuring compliance with a range of regulations, and partnering with department heads to support program growth and maintain fiscal sustainability. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior financial leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a nonprofit setting. Expertise in fund accounting, grant management, and compliance with public funding regulations is essential. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in modernizing financial systems and processes, strong communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style. Experience in mentoring and developing finance teams, as well as a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, is necessary. A CPA or MBA is preferred, and the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage diverse funding sources and maintain financial sustainability.
