About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations to lead a pivotal moment in the institution's history. The successful candidate will be the chief alumni relations officer, responsible for providing vision, leadership, and operational oversight of a newly redesigned alumni engagement function. This role is at the forefront of the company's strategic plan and comprehensive campaign, with a focus on deepening engagement across a global community of alumni. The AVP will be a dynamic and strategic leader, tasked with developing a comprehensive, data-informed strategy that enhances the company's institutional reputation and significantly strengthens alumni engagement and connection. The ideal candidate for the AVP position will be a builder and transformer, with the ability to redefine alumni engagement, expand volunteer leadership pipelines, and align efforts with long-term advancement goals. This highly visible leadership role requires a candidate with a strong background in alumni relations, a deep understanding of the importance of experiential learning, and a commitment to the values of public service and intellectual rigor. The AVP will work closely with the senior leadership team and must be prepared to take on a clear mandate with strong institutional support. A strategic, data-informed approach is essential, as is the ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and connect scholarship with practice in a distinctive academic environment.
