About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) with a background in contingent recruitment to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 12-20 people, including career planning, growth, coaching, and managing a sales-driven culture with a focus on metrics, goals, and a commission structure. Experience in this role should include managing recruiters and client service managers, particularly those with a client-facing focus, and a proven track record in temporary staffing, specifically within the office support, administrative, and light industrial skill set. The AVP will be expected to have a strong understanding of the temporary staffing industry, including the ability to negotiate bill rates with clients and a solid grasp of bill/pay and markup terminology. The role requires an individual who can think quickly, make decisions, and is highly organized. An entrepreneurial mindset is essential, as the AVP will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations and must be capable of implementing new structures and processes as needed. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry and be able to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
