About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as its most senior Information Technology (IT) leader. The CIO will be responsible for creating, managing, and directing the IT vision, strategy, and roadmap to support the organization's mission and vision. This includes leading IT strategy, operations, and functions, with a focus on building and managing the infrastructure, technologies, cybersecurity services, and data that enable digital transformation. The successful candidate will also oversee the design, development, installation, and operation of academic and administrative information technology, ensuring data privacy and compliance, and driving innovative solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and administration. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have 8 to 10 years' of experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and leadership, with a strong background in network architecture, cloud computing platforms, and enterprise applications. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree with further professional certification is welcome. While experience in higher education is preferred, candidates from diverse backgrounds with a history of progressively responsible IT leadership in complex organizations are encouraged to apply. The role also involves providing strategic leadership for technology infrastructure, leading cybersecurity efforts, directing enterprise application development, managing and mentoring the IT team, and overseeing IT budget management.
