About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for setting and executing the financial strategy, driving profitable growth, and supporting long-term capital planning. This strategic and hands-on role involves leading the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year models, as well as serving as the executive sponsor for ongoing ERP implementation. The successful candidate will also be tasked with driving reporting automation, KPI visibility, and leveraging automation/AI for various financial processes. Additionally, the CFO will oversee international finance, manage financial administration of licensing portfolios, and lead negotiations of financial terms with key retailers. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of progressive finance leadership experience in the apparel or closely related consumer/retail manufacturing and distribution sectors. A strong background in end-to-end ERP implementation, global sourcing and manufacturing, and licensing/royalty finance is essential. The role requires a proven track record in negotiating commercial terms with major retailers, a strong command of US GAAP, and familiarity with IFRS in multi-entity, multi-currency environments. The ideal candidate will have a technology-forward mindset, be an excellent communicator, and a cross-functional partner. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a CPA and/or MBA being preferred.
