Key responsibilities for the CEO include developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan, serving as the primary thought leader and public face of the organization, and building and stewarding deep, trust-based relationships across the education ecosystem. The successful candidate will be a transparent, student-centered advocate for evidence-based education policy, and will work to ensure that every strategic decision is aligned with the needs of the most underserved students and families. They must be prepared to lead a lean, high-performing team, make disciplined decisions about organizational priorities, and support programmatic leaders in executing active initiatives.
