About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) to lead its enterprise-wide philanthropic growth strategy. The CPO will be responsible for driving the Foundation's long-term strategic impact, deepening engagement with donors, professional advisors, and community stakeholders, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. This executive will oversee the Development and Philanthropic Services function, guiding a sophisticated fundraising and donor engagement strategy to support both immediate revenue objectives and long-term asset growth. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (graduate degree or professional certification preferred) and at least 10 years' of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record in comprehensive philanthropic campaigns, donor cultivation, and planned giving. They must also demonstrate a commitment to equity-centered philanthropy, possess strong leadership and management skills, and have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across diverse professional and social settings. Key responsibilities for the CPO include leading the development and execution of a multi-year philanthropic growth strategy, partnering with legal and internal stakeholders to structure complex philanthropic gifts, and cultivating strategic relationships with professional advisors.
