About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Development and Fundraising in Region 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all major-gift donors and solicitations, with a focus on increasing overall contributions. This role also involves working to increase participation among athletes and volunteers, thereby fostering community support for the organization's mission. The Senior Vice President will engage in targeted solicitation of individuals, foundations, and business leaders, and will be expected to follow solicitation standards and workflows set by the Central Development Office. Applicants for the Senior Vice President position should have a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in the area of major gifts. The role requires the ability to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other leaders to coordinate outreach efforts. Experience in managing a regional development team and a deep understanding of the fundraising process, including the cultivation and stewardship of donors, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a passionate advocate for the cause. A background in working with diverse communities and a commitment to the values of the organization are also key requirements.
