About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of providing dignified access to fresh, nutritious, and culturally relevant food while also addressing the root causes of hunger through community organizing and policy advocacy. The successful candidate will be a values-driven leader with a deep commitment to equity, capable of inspiring and aligning staff, the Board, and the community around a clear and compelling vision. This role requires a leader who can seamlessly move between strategic thinking and execution, and who is adept at fostering a culture of impact, inclusivity, and accountability. The CEO will be responsible for driving a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including major gifts and a capital campaign, and will serve as a visible and credible ambassador, deepening relationships with community partners, funders, and policymakers. Key responsibilities for the CEO include leading the organization in a way that reflects and advances its mission, translating strategy into focused priorities, and ensuring operational and programmatic excellence. The ideal candidate will have proven executive leadership experience, a track record of success in fundraising, and the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams. They will also be responsible for upholding high standards of ethics, compliance, and organizational integrity, and for positioning the organization for long-term sustainability and impact.
