About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, People Strategy and Governance to take on a senior enterprise leadership role with a focus on defining, evolving, and operationalizing the company's people strategy function. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the people strategy, acting as a thought partner to the Chief People Officer, and ensuring that the people function is structured, resourced, and governed effectively to support business growth. This includes oversight of HR governance, employee relations, health and safety, and compliance. The role also involves participating in executive-level forums, providing leadership on workforce strategy, and leading strategic initiatives to strengthen the people function and enterprise readiness. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive leadership experience in a people or human resources function, with a strong background in operating at a senior executive level and advising C-suite leaders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and evolving people operating models, workforce strategy, and influencing at the executive level. Experience in HR governance, employee relations, and enterprise policy frameworks is essential. A consulting background, experience in M&A, partnerships, or complex organizational integrations, and industry experience in healthcare or technology are preferred. The role requires a leader with strong business acumen, the ability to maintain awareness of enterprise dynamics, and a commitment to coaching and developing direct reports.
