About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of advancing the fight against lung cancer. The successful candidate will be a strategic, innovative, and financially astute leader, responsible for driving the organization's operational, strategic, advocacy, and fundraising goals. This includes championing the company's mission, developing and leading a clear organizational strategy, and ensuring that all programs and services are designed to meet the needs of the lung cancer community. The CEO will also serve as the chief spokesperson, providing leadership in public relations, and will be tasked with expanding the company's visibility and influence through partnerships and media engagement. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' senior management experience, ideally in a healthcare or medical nonprofit environment. The role requires a proven track record in fundraising, financial management, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advocacy, public relations, and communications, with experience in representing organizations at a national and international level. They must be committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative organizational culture, and be adept at leading and growing multi-million-dollar contributed-revenue streams. High emotional intelligence, mentorship abilities, and a servant-leader approach are essential, as is the ability to translate complex clinical and technological challenges into actionable, member-focused programs and advocacy objectives.
