About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Airport Operations and Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the airport, including its services, activities, operations, safety, and security. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant FAA rules and regulations, particularly those pertaining to certificated airports. The Executive Director will also be tasked with strategic planning, budget development, and the implementation of policies and procedures related to airport operations, safety, security, and maintenance. Additionally, the role includes representing the airport at various meetings, coordinating with external agencies, and overseeing the development and negotiation of airport leases, contracts, and agreements. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior executive role within a commercial service hub airport program, with at least 5 years' of administrative and supervisory airport experience. A Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Responsibilities also include emergency response, citizen engagement, and staying abreast of industry trends and innovations in airport management and administration.
