About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Engineering to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers and developers, ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet design requirements and user experience standards. This role involves close collaboration with the VP of product management, overseeing the development of budgets and schedules for engineering activities, and the continuous improvement of engineering policies and standards. The VP of Engineering will also be involved in systems engineering activities, from concept formulation to validation and verification, and will play a key role in the strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organization. Applicants for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have a strong background in systems engineering, software development, and data structure and signal processing algorithms. The role requires the ability to lead diverse teams, operate under pressure, and support field operations. A diverse technical background and experience in both domestic and international operations are essential. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree with at least 12 years' of experience, or a PhD with at least 9 years' of experience, in disciplines such as electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, control, communication, or related areas. The VP of Engineering will also be responsible for talent development and recruitment within the engineering team.
