About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Legal Officer to lead and manage all legal aspects of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing legal strategies that align with the company's mission, particularly in the areas of risk management and compliance with AI, technology, and corporate laws. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in corporate, commercial, product, privacy, IP, litigation, and compliance, and a proven track record in managing legal teams. The Chief Legal Officer will also be involved in commercial and transactional leadership, corporate governance, regulatory matters, and intellectual property protection. Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with health tech companies, and a background in a startup or high-growth environment are highly valued. Applicants for the Chief Legal Officer position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and be an active member of the Bar Association. A minimum of 15 years of legal experience, including a significant in-house track record, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal challenges faced by health tech companies and a strategic mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are essential.
