About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President and Chief Program Officer to lead the strategic development and management of its diverse program portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the fiscal and operational performance of all programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient services across various areas, including arts and culture, education, health and wellness, and community development. This role involves providing executive management, thought leadership, and strategic advice to the leadership of the company's various centers, as well as collaborating with the executive team on organizational strategies and day-to-day operations. The EVP & CPO will also be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, board members, and funders, and will play a key role in the continuous improvement of services to the community. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 15 years' of senior leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in program management and a deep understanding of the nonprofit, government, and philanthropic landscape, particularly in New York City. The role requires a forward-thinking, people-focused individual with a strategic approach to program management, community building, and team development. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree, with an advanced degree being a plus, and must be adept at overseeing diverse programs, leading high-performing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Experience in urban public policy and a strong commitment to the values of community, dignity, and opportunity are essential.
