About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in leading the financial future of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for the enterprise-wide financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. This key executive will also provide financial oversight across multiple affiliated entities and programs, manage grant and contract financial operations, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, treasury, cash flow management, and internal controls, as well as leading audit preparation, tax filings, and GAAP compliance. The CFO will be a key partner to the executive leadership and the Board, driving financial systems optimization, and leading, developing, and mentoring the finance and accounting team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a background in senior financial leadership within nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations. Experience in managing grant-funded and/or government-funded financial environments is essential, with a strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-site or multi-entity financial oversight, and familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care reimbursement is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a CPA is also preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong leadership presence, the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and strategically, and a builder mindset to strengthen systems, processes, and operational structure.
