About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to provide executive leadership for its commercial construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal in driving the overall construction operations and financial performance, including P&L, operations, estimating, preconstruction, project delivery, and safety leadership. The VP of Construction will also be tasked with overseeing daily operations, establishing KPIs, and fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and strong customer relationships. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of progressive commercial construction leadership experience, particularly with multi-project oversight and P&L responsibility, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, preconstruction, project operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management, as well as a proven ability to lead safety initiatives and high-performing teams. Proficiency in construction management and financial reporting systems is essential, and preferred certifications include OSHA 30, CCM, PE, LEED/AP, or similar credentials. The role demands a leader with strong analytical, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, who can drive operational consistency and support the company's commitment to safety and operational excellence.
