About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Controller to play a pivotal role in the financial leadership of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the US Finance and Accounting function, establishing and maintaining financial controls and processes to support the company's growth. This role involves close collaboration with the Group CFO, overseeing all day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. The VP Controller will also be tasked with managing the annual budgeting process, owning the FP&A process, and providing strategic financial analysis to the US business leaders. Applicants for the VP Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a strong preference for those with experience in the creative industry, particularly in PR, media, marketing, advertising, TV and film, or music. A passion for creative advertising and marketing is essential. The role requires a candidate with strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a positive attitude. While not mandatory, a CPA or CFA certification is considered a bonus. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing financial risks, cash flow, and working capital, and will be experienced in enhancing internal financial processes for increased efficiency.
