About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Fraud and Authentication to provide enterprise-wide leadership, strategy, and governance in the critical areas of fraud prevention, identity authentication, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the protection of the organization and its members, with a focus on preventing, detecting, and mitigating fraudulent activities. This executive will also ensure that the company maintains full compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and will serve as the primary liaison on fraud-related matters with various stakeholders, including executive leadership, the Board, auditors, regulators, and law enforcement. A key aspect of the role is to foster a culture of prevention, timely detection, and disciplined case management across all delivery channels. Applicants for the Vice President of Fraud and Authentication position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in fraud prevention, financial crimes, or related risk functions within a financial institution, with a strong preference for those holding CFE, CFCS, or similar certifications. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a proven track record of enterprise-level program accountability. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading and managing a team, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in fraud prevention and detection.
