About the Role

The Executive Director will also be tasked with developing and implementing the necessary infrastructure to support the company's grantmaking operations, including financial management, and will be expected to engage in meaningful, mission-driven work that goes beyond professional interest. The ideal candidate will have a background in the nonprofit or foundation sector, with a focus on community-based philanthropy, and a proven track record of impactful leadership. Expertise in grantmaking, financial management, and a strong understanding of the company's priority areas are essential. The role requires a person of Christian faith, a natural relationship builder, and a self-starter with the ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, and experience in developing administrative systems and organizational processes is highly valued. The position is based in the greater Birmingham area and may involve travel to the company's other philanthropic locations.
