About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Officer to lead and support all credit department operations. The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for managing credit policy and performance across various credit types. This role involves leading the credit team, ensuring the quality of the lending portfolio, and participating in high-level committees. The Chief Credit Officer will also be involved in meeting loan growth goals, coordinating external audits, and managing the special assets area. A significant background in credit management, particularly in C&I lending, is essential, with a preference for those with loan workout and SBA experience. Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years' of experience in financial/credit analysis and lending, with a strong focus on C&I lending. Management experience is required, and a background in formal bank management or a related financial industry program is preferred. The role demands the ability to create and analyze credit-related documents, as well as to interpret business and regulatory information. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading a team, making strategic credit decisions, and maintaining relationships with external partners.
