About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be a key figure in the organization, with a primary focus on overseeing and optimizing core business operations across finance, property management, development, and construction. This role involves close partnership with the company's ownership to drive strategic growth initiatives, enhance operational performance, and guide the next phase of the company's evolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, driving operational efficiency, and leading a team that includes the CFO and division heads. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with an MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred, and at least 20 years of experience in real estate investment, development, or operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior leadership role within a multifamily-focused organization, deep expertise in Class A multifamily assets, and a strong background in real estate finance, accounting, and capital structuring. Experience in ground-up development and lease-up of large-scale multifamily projects, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage vertically integrated platforms, is essential. The role requires a strategic, growth-oriented executive with strong operational instincts, a hands-on leadership style, and a high level of integrity and professionalism. The COO should be an effective communicator, with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, and a collaborative, low-ego leadership style that can influence across all levels of the organization.
