About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction and Installation to lead its rapidly growing business in the Southeast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for a large team, with a focus on full ownership of operations, safety and quality, project execution, materials and equipment utilization, team leadership, and financial performance. This role is pivotal as the company continues to expand, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a background in self-performing construction and installation, with a strong knowledge of estimating, contracts, project scheduling, and profitability analyses. Experience in highway, civil, or electrical construction is desirable, and knowledge of the ITS and traffic signal construction industries is a plus. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction and Installation role at the company should be capable of running a business, not just projects, and must be able to lead a construction team of 40-50 resources, including project managers, superintendents, and field crews. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of financial and operational discipline, as well as core leadership capabilities. The position is highly visible and demands a professional who can be respected by both project managers and superintendents. The company values individuals who can make a meaningful impact and is looking for a candidate who can bring a step above a senior manager or director of operations level of experience, or an exceptionally versed senior project manager.
