About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead fund accounting operations for private partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry standards, and engaging in strategic decision-making through the analysis of performance metrics. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams, including portfolio teams, auditors, custodians, and fund administrators, to streamline operations and maintain seamless workflows. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in fund accounting or related roles. Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools is essential, as is a strong technical skill set. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in managing complex corporate actions and distribution waterfalls.
