About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of organizing the community to pursue justice. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's vision and values are reflected in all aspects, from culture to programs. This role involves building and maintaining trust and relationships with members, the board, staff, and external partners. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing the leadership team, fostering a vibrant staff culture, and overseeing the organization's budget and operations. A key focus will be on implementing the strategic plan, diversifying fundraising efforts, and strengthening community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be resilient, and possess social justice experience, including a deep understanding of intersectional issues such as antisemitism, white supremacy, and anti-Blackness. They should have a proven track record in executive leadership, partnership building, and be adept at navigating complex political landscapes. The role requires a commitment to the organization's anti-racist values, the ability to balance bold action with organizational security, and experience in working with a union. The Executive Director will be expected to champion the organization's work, energize membership engagement, and ensure that the organization remains a home for all who seek to organize for justice.
