About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of People Operations for a contract-to-hire role that is pivotal to the launch of an AI-native HQ initiative. This initiative is focused on redesigning the organization's operations through the implementation of better systems, workflows, data, and an operating mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the People pillar of this initiative, working closely with cross-functional leaders, and building modern people infrastructure from the ground up. Key responsibilities include global HRIS selection and implementation, establishing a single source of truth for employee data, designing AI-enabled workflows, owning global compensation programs, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role demands a hands-on approach, a strong capability in systems thinking, and the ability to operate in a complex, decentralized environment. Applicants for the Head of People Operations role at the company should have 8-12 years' of experience in People Operations/HR Operations within global organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading HRIS implementations, deploying AI and automation in HR functions, and owning global compensation programs. A background in complex, decentralized, multi-entity environments and a strong capability in systems thinking are essential. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable with ambiguity, can establish structure, and is energized by greenfield work. Nice-to-have qualifications include Workday implementation experience, M&A integration background, and exposure to equity and executive compensation. The Head of People Operations will also be expected to build and lead a small team over time, with a focus on driving measurable impact and connecting people data to the broader enterprise data platform.
