About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to lead its private, member-owned country club. This role demands a leader who can maintain the club's strong reputation and position in a competitive market, with a focus on modern club metrics for success, member and staff engagement, and long-term financial strategies. The GM/COO will be responsible for the overall operation of the club, including the F&B operation, and must have a strong background in quality food and beverage management, as well as a keen understanding of the importance of a high-quality, family-centric, and inclusive member experience. Candidates for the GM/COO position at the company should have a minimum of 7-10 years' of progressive leadership experience in a similar setting, with a preference for those who have worked in environments with member boards and committee involvement. The role requires a leader with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a high level of emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will be technologically proficient and have a history of success in mentoring staff to create a workplace of choice. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred, and industry certifications are encouraged.
