About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology to spearhead the IT vision and fortify the systems that underpin its expanding transport operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing a long-term technology strategy that aligns with business objectives and addresses current operational demands. This pivotal role involves directing enterprise IT operations, leading and developing technology teams, and establishing robust IT service management practices. A key focus is on enhancing cybersecurity governance, managing risk, and evaluating the integration of emerging technologies such as AI and automation to drive efficiency and innovation. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in technology leadership, with at least 3 years' in a senior executive or VP-level position. The role requires a proven track record in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management, as well as successful leadership in AI, automation, or large-scale digital transformation initiatives. A strong background in managing core infrastructure, including cloud environments, networking, hardware, and enterprise systems, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with technologies like AWS and Cisco, and a working knowledge of IT service management methodologies and Agile or Scrum-based delivery practices. The ability to balance strategic planning with operational leadership and a willingness to travel occasionally to meet business needs are also key requirements.
