About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Lending Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales and lending efforts across commercial, specialty, and consumer lending. This includes maintaining the existing loan portfolio, meeting production targets, and developing new channels for business. The role also involves providing leadership and coaching to lending teams, managing the lending pipeline, and ensuring a high level of customer experience. The Chief Lending Officer will be a key player in the company's community reinvestment activities and will work closely with the CEO and senior management to address major issues within the sales teams. Candidates for the Chief Lending Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, accounting, or finance, and a Master of Business Administration is preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of commercial banking experience, with at least five years in commercial credit, is required. Direct lending and lending/sales management experience, as well as a background in consumer lending, are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in the Windows Office Suite is also necessary.
