About the Role

The ideal candidate for the Chairperson position at the company will have an MD, DO, or equivalent, with a strong academic background meriting the rank of Professor or Associate Professor. Board certification by the American Board of Surgery and a license or eligibility for licensure in the state of New York are required. A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a complex academic medical center, with a proven track record of effective leadership in a surgery department, is essential. The role demands a leader with the ability to recruit, retain, and communicate a vision, as well as demonstrated clinical expertise and a strong academic record, including contributions to medical education and research.
