About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the financial strategy and will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth. This includes managing all financial planning activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. The VP of FP&A will also be tasked with ensuring that financial processes are robust, sound, and compliant, and will be a key figure in delivering timely and accurate financial reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Applicants for the VP of FP&A role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for those with experience in the entertainment, TV/Film, or media sectors. A minimum of 7 years' of relevant finance experience is required, with a background in banking and/or FP&A being ideal. The role demands a strong knowledge of US GAAP, the ability to interpret and analyze complex contracts, and experience with financial reporting across various platforms. The VP of FP&A will also be expected to lead financial compliance efforts, drive process improvements, and manage a team within the expanding FP&A function. Bonus skills include investment banking experience, CPA or other advanced certifications, and a background in M&A and post-merger integration.
