About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary and collaborative physician leader to take on the role of Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning the department's goals with the strategic plans of the School of Medicine, fostering a unified approach to clinical, academic, and research excellence. This pivotal position involves developing and executing an innovative strategic vision to ensure the department remains at the forefront of basic science, translational and clinical research, education, and transformative clinical care. The Chair will also serve as Co-Chair for the Neurosciences Institute and will be instrumental in the growth of the neurosciences program across the region through care delivery, research, and education. Applicants for the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the company should be leaders with a proven track record in setting a vision, advancing a collaborative culture, and effectively managing and developing a team. The role requires an individual with an MD/DO degree, completion of postgraduate medical education in an ACGME-approved residency and fellowship program, and current Board certification in neurosurgery.
