About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting to take on a pivotal role within a premier growth equity firm. This is not a traditional back-office position; the successful candidate will be at the forefront, leading fund reporting, and working closely with deal teams, tax, compliance, and leadership. The role involves overseeing the full accounting and reporting lifecycle for investment funds and GP entities, managing capital calls, distributions, management fees, and driving the audit and tax process. The VP will also be responsible for mentoring the fund accounting team, improving systems and workflows, and supporting fundraising and investor reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in private equity fund accounting, with a strong knowledge of fund structures, LPAs, side letters, fee calculations, and fund lifecycle complexities. A CPA and/or public accounting foundation is preferred. The role requires a professional who can thrive in a high-caliber, fast-moving, and collaborative environment, and who is ready to make a significant impact on the infrastructure of the investment platform.
