About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CFOO will be responsible for the financial integrity, reporting, and long-term fiscal health of the organization, as well as providing strategic oversight of operations and human resources. This role is pivotal in guiding the organization through a period of change, with a focus on strengthening infrastructure, supporting strategic decision-making, and aligning internal operations with the company's mission. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a CPA is strongly preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with a background in nonprofit accounting. The CFOO will also be tasked with leading the annual budgeting process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing the transition from outsourced to in-house finance and accounting functions. Key qualifications include deep expertise in nonprofit financial management, experience in supervising operational and administrative departments, and a strong commitment to the values and culture of the organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO, demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, and have a passion for the company's mission of driving bold policy solutions for equitable, carbon-neutral economies.
