About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Internal Audit to play a key role in executing and supporting risk-based internal audit activities across its financial operations. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of audit engagements, from planning to reporting, and will contribute to enterprise risk assessments and annual audit planning. A critical part of the role is to review and validate remediation efforts for findings from various assessments and to partner with audit leadership and stakeholders to identify control weaknesses and emerging risks. The role also includes supporting regulatory and external auditor interactions and assisting with management reporting and audit metrics. Applicants for this position should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, with advanced education or professional credentials such as CPA, CIA, CISA, MBA, or similar certifications preferred. A minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in internal audit, public accounting, risk management, regulatory examinations, or comparable control functions within a financial services organization is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk assessment methodologies, control evaluation techniques, and compliance frameworks, and demonstrated ability to apply these concepts in complex business and operational environments. Experience within highly regulated financial institutions, particularly in banking or broker-dealer platforms, is also preferred.
