About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Manager/Chief Executive to provide executive leadership in strategy, operations, finance, and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's strategic, financial, and operational performance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to members in a fiscally responsible and efficient manner. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement a 3-5 year strategic plan, managing the organization's budget, and overseeing all staff to create a high-performing, inclusive, and team-centered culture. The General Manager/Chief Executive will also be the primary spokesperson for the organization, driving marketing and community engagement efforts, and will be accountable for the organization's compliance with non-profit regulations and best practices. Applicants for the General Manager/Chief Executive position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in sports management, non-profit administration, or a related leadership role, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the youth soccer landscape, experience in leading organizations through transition, and exceptional conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in sports management and financial software is required, and the candidate should be a highly adaptable leader comfortable in a fast-paced, community-facing environment. The role demands a commitment to the organization's core values and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, staff, members, and the local community.
