About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the enterprise-wide human capital strategy across its multi-hospital system. The CHRO will be a strategic executive, responsible for ensuring workforce readiness, regulatory compliance, and talent sustainability in alignment with the organization's mission of providing high-quality, integrated patient care. Key responsibilities include serving as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, aligning HR strategy across various healthcare facilities, and overseeing enterprise recruiting, retention, and succession planning. The successful candidate will also be tasked with designing competitive total rewards programs, leading labor relations strategy, and ensuring consistent labor practices across the region. Candidates for the CHRO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 7-10 years in a healthcare setting. The role requires a proven track record in managing large, diverse workforces, leading HR across multiple locations, and experience in labor negotiations and workforce strategy during challenging periods. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of physician compensation frameworks, including legal requirements, and experience with HR technology platforms in complex healthcare environments. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and professional HR certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP are a plus. The CHRO must possess exceptional change management skills, advanced systems-thinking, and the ability to lead culture transformation in large, mission-driven organizations.
