About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their team. The CNO will be responsible for the overall management of nursing services, including 24-hour accountability, FTE management, and policy, procedure, and budgetary oversight. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree or the knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree, a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, and at least 5 years of inpatient hospital experience, with a minimum of 2 years in nursing management. The CNO will also be involved in conducting disciplinary actions and must have current RN licensure, with BLS certification and CRRN certification to be obtained within a year. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The CNO will be a key member of the leadership team, with direct reports including RNs, RNTs, and various support departments. The position demands a candidate with excellent communication and leadership skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a focus on continuous improvement in nursing practices. The CNO will be instrumental in maintaining the nurse-patient ratio and ensuring that the nursing staff is well-equipped to meet the needs of the patients.
