About the Role

The Company is in search of a Corporate Counsel to join their in-house legal department. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's legal affairs, providing strategic advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters. This role involves the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex contracts, as well as handling claims management and overseeing outside litigation counsel. The Corporate Counsel will also be responsible for developing and implementing legal strategies and policies to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Collaboration with various departments to address legal concerns and staying abreast of changes in laws that may impact the company's operations are also essential duties. Applicants for the Corporate Counsel position at the company should hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be a licensed attorney in Florida with a strong background in construction law. The role requires proven experience in a similar legal capacity, particularly within the construction industry, and a deep understanding of construction law and related regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional communication abilities. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment are also necessary for this challenging and rewarding opportunity.
