The Executive Director will be at the forefront of navigating complex political and coalition dynamics, ensuring the organization's strategic plan aligns with values of equity, inclusion, and collective power, and maintaining a deep understanding of the political and civic landscape to guide the organization's strategy. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include advancing the organization's mission, supporting the leadership team, and leading the annual budget process. The role also involves serving as a public spokesperson, representing the organization in various settings, and leading external engagement with partner organizations, funders, and policymakers. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, financial stewardship, and program design and evaluation, with a strong commitment to racial, social, and economic justice. They should be adept at managing senior teams, overseeing organizational operations, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations. The Executive Director will be instrumental in strengthening the organization's internal systems, culture, and processes to support its growth and impact.
