About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Engineering Lead for Investment Compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering delivery and operational ownership of the investment compliance technology portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with compliance leadership and investment stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans. The VP will also be tasked with owning the end-to-end solution delivery process, establishing and maintaining integration patterns, and driving a strong engineering discipline that includes code quality, peer review, and automated testing. Additionally, the role requires ensuring embedded controls across workflows and maintaining a strong focus on information barrier requirements and technology controls. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive technology experience, with a focus on hands-on delivery in support of investment compliance. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a background in computer science or engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading small teams, strong software engineering fundamentals, and experience in complex, regulated financial services, particularly in alternative asset management. Experience with compliance surveillance and monitoring platforms is a plus. The role also involves partnering with various teams, managing vendors, and providing executive-ready reporting on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
