About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP for Valuation Risk Management with a focus on Rates. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of valuations across a diverse range of complex products, including both flow and structured instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Independent Price Verification (IPV) processes, managing end-to-end valuation controls, and partnering with various teams to review and challenge valuation outputs. Additionally, the role involves acting as a key point of escalation for valuation issues, developing and enhancing valuation methodologies, and leading strategic initiatives to optimize the valuation control framework. Applicants for the VP, Valuation Risk Management - Rates position at the company should have a strong background in model risk and quantitative risk, with a focus on credit and rates.
