About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial and people functions of a high-growth, mission-driven organization. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO and private equity sponsors, driving operational performance, financial discipline, and execution against the company's value creation plan. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the company meets or exceeds its targets, and leading investor and board reporting. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on, commercially minded approach, with a proven track record in financial leadership, strong FP&A expertise, and a revenue and funnel-oriented mindset. Experience in private equity-backed environments and a background in education or similar sectors are preferred. The successful CFO will be responsible for driving KPI discipline, leading FP&A and forecasting, and ensuring cost discipline and cash management. They will also be involved in shaping organizational effectiveness, preparing for a future exit, and leading M&A activities as needed. The role requires a leader who is adaptable, pragmatic, and culturally aligned with a mission-driven, performance-oriented organization. The CFO should be adept at leveraging technology for scale, and be prepared to support the company's growth strategy, including evaluating investments and new market expansion. A collaborative executive presence and a finance-for-operations mindset are essential, as is the ability to operate with limited support and actively engage in the work.
