About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting. This includes budget development, financial modeling, and productivity analysis, as well as overseeing internal controls, audits, treasury, and investment. The successful candidate will also be involved in cross-functional initiatives to enhance financial maturity and operational effectiveness and will lead a finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal CFO for the company will be a forward-thinking financial leader with a strong background in building and strengthening financial infrastructure, particularly in a complex nonprofit setting. They should be adept at translating financial insights into actionable guidance, and experience in multi-revenue environments, government contracts, or healthcare billing is preferred. The role requires a collaborative partner who is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and who is energized by mission-driven work that supports children and families. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with a CPA or MBA being a plus, along with at least 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in the nonprofit or related sector. Knowledge of behavioral health operations or revenue cycle management, as well as experience with government grants, contracts, or regulated environments, is also desirable.
