About the Role

The Company is in search of a President to lead its philanthropic organization through a significant leadership transition and into a new phase of institutional growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic, grounded, and community-centered leader, tasked with modernizing the Foundation's systems, sharpening its strategic focus, and broadening its donor base while maintaining strong internal operations. This role requires a balance of continuity and evolution, with a focus on financial stewardship, operational modernization, donor engagement, and community impact. The President will be responsible for overseeing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance, as well as leading the Foundation in expanding its philanthropic tools and ensuring that grantmaking is aligned with community priorities. The ideal candidate will have senior executive leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in leading organizations through transition and change. They should have a deep understanding of community-based philanthropy, cross-sector collaboration, and the ability to develop and manage a high-performing team. Key attributes include exceptional communication skills, a relational leadership style, and the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders. While familiarity with the local community is a plus, the candidate should be prepared to be a visible, trusted, and approachable presence across various sectors in the community. The role demands a leader with integrity, humility, and emotional intelligence, who is both strategic and pragmatic, and who can navigate the complexities of the philanthropic landscape with decisiveness and a commitment to learning.
