About the Role

The Company is in search of a DevSecOps-focused Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in embedding security into the software delivery lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining systems that ensure secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery. This includes the development and evolution of CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling, the implementation of Infrastructure as Code with technologies like Terraform and CloudFormation, and the automation of system configuration with tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. The role also involves the development of containerized application patterns, the creation of automation scripts, and the implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. A key aspect of the position is the optimization of cloud platform automation, with a focus on Azure and other cloud environments, and the integration of security automation into engineering workflows. Applicants for this role at the company should have a significant background in cybersecurity, typically with at least 8 years' experience, and a strong focus on security engineering, DevOps, SRE, AppSec automation, or platform engineering. Proficiency in CI/CD stacks, Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, and cloud provider security, particularly with Azure, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of integrating security scanning tools into pipelines, possess strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash, and be familiar with OIDC workload identity, artifact registries, and software supply chain controls. A Bachelor's degree, relevant technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience is required, and professional certifications in the field are valued.
